In the demo, you will be able to fight a few bosses, one of which is the giant monkey boss, Zhuyan. If you’re struggling to beat it, this guide is for you.

Boss Strategy to Defeat Zhuyan in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

As we mentioned, Zhuyan is a giant monkey that is both agile and aggressive. His main attack consists of two swings which we recommend parrying accurately.

This will eventually stagger him so you can follow up with heavy attacks.

Killing the Boss

You will be accompanied by Zhao Yun during the fight. As such, you want to use Zhao Yun to bait the boss into performing its swings. When this happens, position yourself behind it and unleash your attacks.

We recommend focusing on heavy attacks combined with fast attacks to increase the rate at which he gets staggered. Don’t forget to use your martial arts skills as well!

Keep on repeating the pattern of deflecting his attacks and attacking him whenever you have the chance.

At this point, you should also know how to deflect a critical blow. Use this to your advantage so you can stagger the boss effectively. Once it gets staggered, make sure to follow up with a critical attack.

Once the boss is dead, you will receive a nice set of new armor: the Lieutenant-General Gauntlets and the Nameless Warrior Footwear.
