Wild Hearts: Which is the Best OP Weapon to Use | Weapon Guide
Try out different weapons and you be the judge.
As you step into the world of Wild Hearts, you will be encountering a lot of massively dangerous monsters that will try to hinder you from your journey and purpose. This game is in the feudal Japanese setting.
For you to survive in this hostile world, you will have to roam around this land with your weapon in your hand.
Since the game is just about to be released, we are here to show you a sneak peek of all the available weapons and tell you which weapon is the best.
Which Weapon is Best in Wild Hearts
In Wild Hearts, there will be eight different weapons that you can try and use throughout the game.
These weapons are Claw Blade, Bow, Karakuri Katana, Bladed Wagasa, Cannon, Nodachi, Maul, and Karakuri Staff.
Each of these weapons has its own passive abilities embedded in it. And it is important for you to know what its ability is for you to fully maximize and utilize the strength of your weapon.
Nodachi
The first melee weapon that we have is the Nodachi. It is a heavy blade that hits heavy blows to enemies. Despite being heavy, using this will allow you to land heavy attacks even when you are running around or spinning in position.
The only drawback of using Nodachi is it is slow due to its weight. Just to make it clear, this weapon doesn’t slow you down, but the attack speed is comparably slower than other weapons.
But what makes this one of the higher-tier weapons is that it can accommodate different lai stances that can produce different attacks and playstyles.
Karakuri Katana
One of the most anticipated weapons in this Karakuri Katana. Another melee weapon is mid-weight which makes it easier to handle.
Opposite to Nodachi, this sword is best if you are into burst damage type of player.
However, using the Karakuri Katana will cost you a lot of stamina especially after using your special attacks.
Bladed Wagasa
Weird as it may look, this Bladed Wagasa is one of the deadliest weapons in Wild Hearts. What made this weapon strong is because of its light attacks which are quick enough to do combo attacks.
In fact, one of its attacks thrusts toward an enemy and launches the character upward upon contact which gives room for another combo attack.
Plus, this is the only weapon that has a parry ability that can deflect any Kemono attacks. Parry attacks, however, consume your stamina.
Lastly, given that it is the form of an umbrella, you can also use it to float and easily reposition yourself.
Maul
Maul is another powerful melee weapon that can hit an enemy with an incredible amount of damage while also affecting the surrounding area of the spot.
What makes this weapon more exciting is that you can extend the handle of the maul which opens a new set of combos that you can perform.
Bow
The most accurate and precise of them all is a bow. This is a long-range weapon that you can use in two ways: horizontally or vertically, also known as haya and otoya respectively.
Haya is the basic stance of the bow user, while otoya is when the user shoots arrows vertically. Otoya deals more damage than haya does.
You can also use your skills to strengthen your arrows’ power temporarily by using your stamina.
Karakuri Staff
The Karakuri Staff might be the most dynamic and complex weapon that you can find in Wild Hearts. The reason is that having the Karakuri Staff is just like having five different weapons wielded at once.
All the five forms it can take are the original form which is the long staff, twin fang, war pike, giant shuriken, and a giant sword.
With its very wide skill cap, you will have to really practice using this weapon, starting from the understanding of when to change the form and how to use each properly.
Claw Blade
The Claw Blade, aside from its heavy attacks, also allows you to utilize the mobility of your character. This is a lightweight weapon that you can take advantage of especially in landing swift and heavy attacks.
Aside from that, its claw can be used to utilize your aerial attacks. Once the claw grips a Kemono, it will build up the claw gauge which can pierce through the enemy.
Cannon
Another long-range weapon is the Cannon. Unlike the lightweight bow, the cannon is the total opposite because of its heavy weight.
Using this can be a little tricky since you should have a good eye and timing skills. Landing your shells on the enemy has a little delay which you should take into consideration.
But despite that, a successful shot can deal your enemy massive damage.
