Wild Hearts How to Hunt the Kemono

There are many large creatures to hunt and take down in Wild Hearts. These towering beasts, called Kemono, require some patience and strategy to take down, but once you do, you will be rewarded with materials you can use to build better gear.

The Kemono are looking to cause damage to nearby villages, and you must stop them before they wreak any more havoc.

If you’re playing the game for the first time, it might be a bit tricky to hunt them. As such, we have created this guide for you to teach you how to take down the Kemono!

One of the first Kemono you’ll encounter is this giant rat with plant growth all over its body. To hunt it, you first need to learn how to track it down.

As you make your way to its location, look for any valuable materials along the way.

Eventually, you’ll come across a large clearing where you will spot the beast. As soon as the battle starts, create a platform to jump and attack its head while keeping yourself away from its large claws.

The rat-like creature will use its claws, tail, and body weight to stop you, so it’s best to quickly learn its attacks and be ready to dodge at a moment’s notice because one or two hits will be enough to end you.

Right before it charges at you, it will shake its tail as it looks at its target, so make sure you pay close attention to its every movement.

It will make big, exaggerated movements prior to every attack, such as lifting its front legs before swinging its tail and standing on two feet before pouncing.

Once you get used to all of its attacks, you will be able to time your attacks properly, allowing you to land hits as soon as it has finished.

This will take some time, and you will have to be very patient with your attacks, but if you watch the creature at all times and wait for it to telegraph its attacks, you should easily be able to dodge them and take hits when you are safe to do so.

After you have taken enough damage, a prompt will come up, telling you to take the final blow, after which you can then finish it.
