Where to Find the Waterways Dead Drop Location in DMZ Warzone 2 | Break Check Mission

Break Check is one of the new missions in DMZ Warzone 2’s Ashika Island. This is a Tier 2 mission for the White Lotus faction which will task you with retrieving and delivering a hard drive.

In this short guide, we’ll tell you where to find the Waterways Dead Drop location where the hard drive is located.

Where to Find the Waterways Dead Drop

The Waterways Dead Drop is an objective for the Tier 2 White Lotus mission “Break Check”. This mission is done on the new Ashika Island map, as mentioned previously.

As part of this mission, you’ll have to obtain a hard drive and bring it to the dead drop in the waterways.

The entrance to the waterways is found on the southeastern side of the map, close to Port Ashika. The best way to reach it is by taking a nearby boat.

Stop your boat close to the waterways and get out onto the eastern side. You’ll find it to the right right as you look at the entrance.

Keep heading inside the waterways, taking out any hostiles that intercept you. Eventually, you should reach a cave section where the canal splits into two.

You will find the Dead Drop on the northeastern corner of this cave system. It’s basically a dumpster which should be highlighted in white.

Simply approach it and interact with it to deliver the hard drive and complete the objective.
