Where to Find a Sled in Sons of the Forest

Sleds are one of the many tools you can find in Sons of the Forest. This handy tool allows you to slide down mountains and rivers. However, you can’t carry big materials in it, such as logs.

If you want to get your hands on a sled, here’s where you can find it.

Sled Location in Sons of the Forest

Unlike its prequel, there’s no easily craftable Log Sled in Sons of the Forest. Instead, the only sled in the game is the 3D Printed Sled. As such, you will need to find a 3D Printer to make a Sled.

3D Printers can be found in a variety of caves which are marked on your GPS Tracker.

One of the first 3D Printers you can find is near the initial helicopter crash. Use your GPS Tracker and explore the area to find a Cave.

After you find a Cave with a 3D Printer, approach the PC next to the 3D Printer. Press the R key to switch through the available printing options.

Once the Sled is shown on the screen, press the E key to confirm. Wait a few seconds for it to be printed out and then approach and grab it.

If the printing doesn’t start when you press E, you might need to add some Resin to the 3D Printer. You should find some within the same room the 3D Printer is in.

That’s all there is to it! You can now equip the Sled from your inventory and use it to quickly slide down mountains and rivers, drastically speeding up traversal.
