To get money quickly, you must learn how to make money via trading. To start, you have to build a Harbour and place it on the shore. After that, click on it to see all the items that you have.

On the right side, you will see both the Buy and Sell tabs. Since we are aiming to make a lot of money, you want to sell the items that you no longer need.
These could be in the form of weapons and shields.

As you can see, a single hammer already costs 30 gold while the shield can be sold for 10 gold. Given that a hammer only needs wood and a stone, you can easily craft it and sell it in the Harbour.
Just keep repeating the process until you have enough resources to start construction.
