The Everything Seed in Terarria 1.4.4 Has a Secret Mini Game

Terraria 1.4.4 Labor of Love Update is close to its second month since its release. Even after all this time, players are still finding secrets in the game and there are no signs of it stopping anytime soon.

This is astonishing if you consider the relatively small size of the game when you install it. For something this small, it is packed with content that players will still be discovering something new with each playthrough.

In this guide, we will be talking about one of the newly discovered content in the game which is a topic of Terraria-based message boards on social media and that’s the secret mini-game when generating a new world in Terraria 1.4.4.

Guide to the Secret Mini Game in The Everything Seed on Terraria 1.4.4

The Secret mini-game works both on PC and Mobile Versions of Terraria 1.4.4. How you place this is by creating a new world in Terraria.

Choose any size for the world and pick any difficulty. Be sure to input the Everything Seed on the seed option. To do this, simply type “getfixedboi” on the seed menu and click generate.

If you are generating the world on your PC, your mouse cursor on the screen will resemble a smiley face.

A number of falling stars will be streaking downwards and if you catch them by positioning your cursor where you use the smiley face to catch them, they will bounce back and a cat sound will play.

On mobile, just tap below the falling star for the smiley face to appear. Bouncing the stars back will also generate the cat sound.

You can also drag your finger across the screen to control your smiley face which looks a lot like the Cheshire Cat in the old cartoon Alice in Wonderland.

Game Mechanics

Try to bounce back as many falling stars as you can until the world is fully generated. There are no indicators of how many stars you’ve bounced back and the most that we can deduce is that the smiley face changes hue the more falling stars you manage to bounce.

Rewards

The higher you manage to bounce back those falling stars, the higher the chance for certain items to appear in the game world.

Items that are affected by the raised chance to Spawn are Chests, Statues, Tnt Barrels, life crystals, gemstone caves, pots, and traps.

The score cap for the mini-game is around 200 points. If you manage to get that score then it’s estimated that your item Spawn will increase by 20 percent.

We’re not sure about this since different players have different calculations that they’ve posted on message boards but one thing is for sure about the Secret Mini Game.

It does raise your chances of finding more of these items in your generated world.
