Additionally, it would help if you completed the main story first to unlock all of Spongebob’s abilities.

Sandy’s Side Quest

In front of Squidward’s house, you will find Sandy, and talking to her will initiate her sidequest.

You need to find 5 hot objects to complete it. After that, go back to her to complete the quest and get the first Gold Coin.

Squidward’s Side Quest

Besides Sandy, you will find Squidward outside of his house.

His side quest is to obtain 5 refreshments. Once you finish it, you’ll get the second Gold Coin.

Mrs. Puff’s Side Quest

At Mrs. Puff’s Boating School, find Mrs. Puff to get her side quest where you need to find 5 Good Noodles Stars.

Afterward, go back to her to obtain your third Gold Coin.

Nurse’s Side Quest

In front of the Treedome in Bikini Bottom, look for the Nurse and accept her side quest where you need to collect 7 Fortune Cookies.

Once you have it all, go back to her to complete the quest and obtain your next Gold Coin.

Mr. Krabs’ Side Quest

Find Mr. Krabs at the Krusty Krabs and do his mission where you need to retrieve 5 lost pennies.

After getting all the pennies, go back to him to obtain another Gold Coin.

Gary’s Side Quest

To get the sixth Gold Coin, you need to talk to Twitchy at the Medieval Sulfur Fields to get a Magic Potion that can return Gary to his original size.

After obtaining all the ingredients and getting the potion, return to Gary and receive a Gold Coin.

Sticky Notes

There are 9 Sticky Notes in Bikini Bottom, and once you obtain them all, go to Patrick’s house to return them and get a Gold Coin as a reward.

Plankton’s Side Quest

You must do the last side quest to obtain a Gold Coin by talking to Plankton. You need to find all of Spot’s hiding spots to complete it.
