Sons of the Forest: Where to Find Zipline Gun (Location)

You will come across several caverns during your playthrough of Sons Of The Forest, but you’ll need the Zipline Gun to explore them all thoroughly.

The Zipline Gun is also required to locate the Shovel, which allows you to obtain the keycards in various areas. However, getting the Zipline Gun is an entirely separate mission.

So if you don’t know where to find it, this guide is for you.

Zipline Gun’s Location in Sons of the Forest

To obtain the Zipline Gun, proceed to the cave shown above.

If you’re lucky, this cave will be where you start, as it’s one of the probable spawn locations in Sons of the Forest.

As you enter, proceed into the dark cavern and down the stream. After reaching an enormous chamber, turn left and follow the water until you encounter a few corpses.

You’ll notice several time bombs on the ground nearby.

You will also find a giant mutant trapped in a wall gap near the time bombs. Take it down by throwing the time bomb over it and waiting for it to detonate. After defeating the mutant, squeeze through the gap to proceed.

The way ahead is somewhat lengthy; go past the chamber packed with hanging bodies. From here, the path is relatively linear, although there should be a severe incline climbing up.

The route becomes narrow here, but keep climbing until you reach a tunnel on the left. Follow it into the darkness ahead to a part where the roof drops, and squat to get through.

Turn right as you reach the next room and hug the wall until you see several light sources ahead.

Follow the light sources until you locate a briefcase on the floor containing a Zipline Gun.
