Sons of the Forest: Where to Find Rope

The rope is an important resource you need for crafting specific buildings such as fortified walls. You might not need it in the early game, but eventually, you will need to find this resource for various crafting needs.

This guide is going to show you where you can find the rope on the map.

Where to Find the Rope in Sons of the Forest

There are two locations where you can find the rope in Sons of the Forest early in the game. While it’s available in various locations, it will be a scarce resource until you get to the latter parts.

Here are its locations:

Shoreline

You can find the rope pretty much everywhere on the map, but this guide will base on the location of the first spawn.

The first place where you can find a rope is along the shoreline. If you run around the shoreline when you start the game, you can find a rope and some food.

Enemy Camp

The second location for the rope is the enemy camp near you. Use your GPS to find the enemy camp near the spawn.

Using your GPS, find where the waterway ends. The enemy camp can be found at the end of the waterway. Just make sure that you have enough health and have a weapon for a fight.

Once you defeat the monsters in this camp, you will find a rope there. Simply pick it up after.
