Sons of the Forest: How to Get Katana (Location)

The Katana, which is a sleek and deadly lightning-fast sword capable of striking devastating blows, is one of the most sought-after weapons in Sons of the Forest.

Due to its speed and tremendous damage output, the Katana is understandably popular among players. As a result, knowing where to find the Katana in Sons of the Forest can make your journey easier.

How to Get the Katana in Sons of the Forest

To obtain the Katana, you will need the Maintenance Keycard which can be located at the Maintenance A dig site in the map’s northwest corner.

Uncovering the Maintenance A hatch will take you to an underground bunker where you can retrieve the Maintenance Keycard. Simply continue down the long corridor and turn right.

Getting to the Katana’s Location

To obtain the Katana, travel to the point of interest on the island’s eastern side, as shown in the image above.

Enter a cave bunker and descend into an underground facility. Now that you already have the Maintenance Keycard, use it to open the access door. Next, you need to locate the room that has the Katana.

Once you pass through the access door with the Keycard, follow the corridor past the dead body until you reach a yellow-hued door.

Proceed straight down the hallway while sticking to the left. You’ll ultimately arrive at a bunker with “2” scrawled on the wall like the one in the image above.

Enter and proceed straight through the second door on your right. The Katana can be found in the room at the end of that passageway.
