Sons of the Forest: All Creatures Guide | Creepies, Villagers, and Muddies

Like its predecessor, Sons of the Forest has a plethora of creatures that you can encounter out there in the open. These are mostly cannibals who have gone insane and developed a desire for their fellow man’s flesh.

They can work together and utilize tools and weapons but are quickly scared away. If you want to increase your chance of survival in the game, you need to know which creatures you can encounter.

All Creatures in Sons of the Forest

There are lots of creatures in the game, and they’re as follows:

Creepies (Cave Cannibals)

Cave Cannibals are unusual creatures that you will encounter in the game. You’ll find that they lack both weapons and clothes.

There are also weaker ones who will move slightly slower. Unless you come too close, it is difficult to be noticed by a Cave Cannibal.

While they don’t have eyes, don’t automatically assume they won’t notice you. You still should be cautious when traveling inside caves.

Villagers (Masked Cannibals)

Cannibals with golden masks are more robust than the rest. They are taller than the other cannibals and are usually dressed in ripped leather.

They are aggressive beings who even assault their fellow cannibals. You may fool them by wearing a special mask that can make them believe you are one of them.

Muddies (Muddy Cannibals)

The Muddies are most likely Cave Cannibals who got out and can’t cope with living outside.

You can see them crawling around the forest and are relatively slow. They are usually found naked and covered in dirt or mud.
