During Chapter 1 of Scars Above, you will eventually need to operate an Alien Console. However, this console is missing some pieces, so you will need to get the pieces as part of the puzzle.

Even after getting the pieces, you will then need to complete a puzzle. In this guide, we will cover both parts of solving and completing the Alien Console puzzle!

Solving the Alien Console Puzzle in Scars Above

To complete the Alien Console puzzle, you will need to find two Alien Artifacts in the area. As you might notice, the console has only 1 artifact and 2 empty slots.

For a starting point, we will use the large black and red door in the area close to the Monolith checkpoint.

As you face the gigantic door, turn to your right. Go down the path that leads to a waterfall. When getting close to the waterfall, turn right to go down another path.

Keep going forward and go under the tree in front of you. You will now be in a large swamp area. This is where you will face the Omnivorous Colossus if you haven’t already!

From the swamp’s entrance, look to your left and head straight forward. You will notice some structures in front of you. The Alien Artifact is floating on some sort of altar. Approach it and grab it.

Now, turn around and return from where you entered the swamp. Go under the tree again.

As soon as you go through the tree, turn directly to your left and follow the path. You will find a second Alien Artifact floating on another altar. Just get close to it and grab it.

Now, climb the small ledge next to the altar. Go forward a bit and you will be back in front of the gigantic door.

Face the door and turn to your right, as before. Head toward the waterfall again. The Alien Console is to the left of the waterfall, on a wall. Interact with it to start the puzzle itself.

Set the Alien Artifacts on the Alien Console

Place both Alien Artifacts on the empty slots. Also, look at the lower part of the console to scan it.

You should now see the insides of the Alien Console. Notice that there are 3 cylinders with symbols on them. Interact with a cylinder to highlight its wiring, showing you which Artifact it connects with.

All that’s left is to pick up each artifact and rotate it so that it matches its assigned symbol. When placed properly, the red glow will become blue.

Note that the matching symbol should be on the bottom of the Artifact!

The completed puzzle should look like the image above. With all Artifacts properly placed, the puzzle is completed and you can continue Scars Above’s story.
