Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to Get the New DLC Uniforms

The DLC plans for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have been announced. The main event of the DLC will be two expansions set to release later this year: The Mystery of Area Zero.

As a lead-up to the expansions, the game has also received some new DLC outfits. These are available right now, so you don’t need to wait to claim them!

Where to Claim the New DLC Uniforms in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

First off, you will need to purchase the “The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero” DLC for your version of the game. This can be done from the Nintendo eShop on your Switch.

Make sure that you are buying the correct DLC Pass for your version. The DLC is version specific. DLC purchased for Pokémon Scarlet will not work for Pokémon Violet and vice versa.

You also want to make sure that your game is up to date. You can do this from the Switch’s HOME menu. Simply press + or – while the game is highlighted and choose “Software Update”.

After purchasing the DLC and updating the game, you just need to start the game and load your save.

While in-game, press X to bring up your menu. You should now see a new Downloadable Content button on the bottom right. Select it then press A.

This should open a new screen showing promo art of the upcoming DLC expansions. Now, just press A while the “Check Item Details” button is highlighted.

Lastly, press A once again while looking at the details. This will claim all four new uniforms, as well as a set of new accessories such as a Hat and Backpack.

After that, you should now have all the new DLC Uniforms and accessories. Press Left on the D-Pad to equip them on your character.
