MW2 Season 2: How to Get the New Shotgun | Unlock KV Broadside

MW2 Season 2 brings loads of new content to the game, and it’s no surprise that this includes new weapons for your arsenal.

One such weapon is the strong new KV Broadside shotgun. Here’s how you can unlock this weapon in the game.

How to Unlock the KV Broadside Shotgun in MW2 Season 2

The KV Broadside is unlocked as part of the Battle Pass. In the main menu, navigate to the Battle Pass tab to see the rewards map.

Note that the KV Broadside is marked as a free unlock and doesn’t actually require you to purchase the Battle Pass to use.

You’ll still need to earn Battle Pass Tokens by earning experience. You earn experience naturally as you play any of the available game modes.

That said, the KV Broadside shotgun is on the B4 area of the map. However, you’ll first need to unlock all rewards in B1 and B2 to open up B4.

Rewards can only be claimed from green areas on the map. This should be B1 at first. Once you claim all rewards in B1, it will then turn gold. B2 and B3 will turn green, indicating you can claim their rewards.

Basically, after claiming all B1 rewards, you can start claiming all rewards in B2. Then claim all rewards in B2 to be able to claim B4’s rewards, including the KV Broadside.

Lastly, you also need to earn all 4 other rewards from B4 before unlocking the KV Broadside shotgun.

You’ll need a total of 5 tokens to complete each area, which means you’ll need a total of 15 Battle Pass Tokens to unlock the KV Broadside.
