How to Use the Super Missile in Metroid Prime Remastered

The Super Missile is one of the many upgrades that Samus obtains throughout her adventure. It’s also one of the Charge Combo weapons in the game.

This stronger variation of the missile deals extreme damage and can even open up some special doors.

If you don’t know how to use it, worry not. This guide will have you covered.

How to Use the Super Missile

Before you can use the weapon, you’ll first need to obtain the Super Missile Upgrade from Glacier One in Phendrana Drifts.

Also, take note that controls in this article will be based on the default control scheme. They might differ from other control schemes.

After you obtain the Super Missile upgrade, select the Power Beam by pressing X + Up on the D-Pad.

After that, press and hold the A button. Samus will quickfire 3 shots and then start to power up the Charge Beam. Keep holding until the beam is fully charged.

When the beam is charged, press the R button to fire a missile. This will fire a Super Missile instead which uses up 5 ammo.
