How to Upgrade to Legendary Fittings “The Stuff of Legend” Achievement – PGA Tour 2K23

One of the achievements that you can unlock in PGA Tour 2K23 is “The Stuff of Legend”. Basically, this achievement requires you to have three legendary fittings all in a single club. As you might have guessed, this is a rather hard achievement to unlock.

After all, it’s not easy to obtain a legendary fitting in the game, let alone three of them. Luckily, this guide will help you get them in the most efficient manner possible.

How to Upgrade to Legendary Fittings “The Stuff of Legend” Achievement – PGA Tour 2K23

On average, you can get a legendary fitting after playing around 15-20 events. However, this is a random fitting, and even if you have three of them, there’s no guarantee that will fit your club. Moreover, they each have to be for a different part: the head, the shaft, and the grip.

Fortunately, there’s a faster method of getting legendary fittings, and this is by trading your current fittings.

All you need to do is select a specific fitting, then choose the Exchange option. Now, this option allows you to exchange three fittings of the same color for a fitting of that same color as well.

However, we will be going for the Upgrade option instead. This way, if you select 3 fittings of the same color, you will get a random fitting of a higher color. For example, if you pick 3 purple fittings, you will then get one random legendary fitting after upgrading.

You just have to keep doing this until you either get all the legendary fittings that you need or run out of purple fittings.

If it’s the latter, you simply have to do the process again, but this time, you’ll be using three blue fittings to obtain purple fittings. Once you get enough purple fittings, then repeat the process until you get legendary fittings.

Applying the Fittings

As mentioned, you just can’t apply random legendary fittings into a random club. They have to match the type of club that you want to apply them to. For example, if you have legendary Hybrid fittings, then you need to apply them to a Hybrid club.

To do so, head over to your Golf Bag and choose the specific club that has the appropriate legendary fittings. In this case, we’ll choose the Hybrid club. Simply select the club and choose the Fit option. In the interface, you simply have to apply the appropriate fittings that you have.

Then, you just have to pay the amount of currency needed to apply the fittings.

Once you’re done, you will then unlock “The Stuff of Legend” achievement.
