How to Start the Bluejay Mission in Destiny 2
Let us help you start this new mission Destiny 2: Lightfall.
Destiny 2’s new Lightfall campaign features a few missions to do after completing the main content. Bluejay is one of these missions, and it’s part of a questline that opens when you complete Lightfall.
The Bluejay quest is notable because completing it will allow you to start the Strider quest, which rewards you with a new exotic weapon.
If you wish to start this quest, this guide will help you how to complete it!
Starting the Bluejay Mission in Destiny 2
To start the Bluejay mission, you first need to complete the Lightfall main campaign.
Once you’ve completed the Lightfall main campaign, you will be introduced to the Hall of Heroes questline in Neomuna. Bluejay is the 3rd mission of this questline.
It’s also highly recommended to reach Reputation Rank 12 with Nimbus. Terminal Overload events are the primary target of the first mission of the Hall of Heroes questline, Stargazer.
Rank 11 will give you easier access to Terminal Overload events while Rank 12 will give you access to the Terminal Overload Key bounty.
After that, complete the “Welcome to the Hall of Heroes” quest which will officially start the Hall of Heroes questline.
Progressing Through the Hall of Heroes Questline
Once you’ve completed the introductory quest, you will need to finish the Stargazer quest. This is given to you by Quinn Laghari at the Hall of Heroes.
Complete Stargazer’s objectives and then return to Quinn Laghari once again to obtain your second mission: Maelstrom.
Once you manage to complete all of the objectives for the Maelstrom quest, return to Quinn Laghari once more. This time, you will be given the Bluejay mission.
Now, all that’s left to do is to go back and speak to Nimbus. This will give you your first set of tasks for the Bluejay mission.
Note that the first step will require you to complete a Terminal Overload event and use a Terminal Overload Key. Don’t do the event unless you have a key.
Other than that, it’s a fairly straightforward quest to complete by following the in-game instructions.
