How to Get Better in Divine Knockout DKO Beginners Guide

Divinity Knockout is a game where you take control of a deity and battle other gods by knocking them out, either individually or as a team.

You can assume the role of a deity from a wide variety of mythologies, including Thor, Hercules, Izanami, and dozens more. If you’re just starting, playing DKO might be a real challenge.

Do not worry. Here are some tips to help you improve your skills in DKO quickly.

The first thing you need to master in DKO is how to recover. Divine Knockout is a 3d-platform fighter where you knock people out of the platform while avoiding getting eliminated.

You can only make two jumps, and sometimes that’s not enough to make it back to the platform. Therefore, you must learn how to recover. You can go back to the platform with a combination of light attacks, heavier attacks, and dodging while in the air.

There are even moves that can help you recover. For example, Susanoo has a move that allows you to choose where you land while still delivering damage.

Dodging

If you want to become better at DKO, you’ll need to time your dodging perfectly, as the dodge has a cooldown.

It’s most effective when used in response to an opponent’s ultimate or special move. As was also noted before, dodging can help you recover.

Use your abilities and ultimates properly, and pay attention to when to use your abilities. For example, if you play King of the Hill, you can use Izanagi’s ultimate to zone out enemies.

You should learn about the DKO characters if you want to improve your skills in the game. The ability to recognize and understand the mechanics of the character is more than enough; you need not master them all.

If you can figure out a character’s abilities, you can easily counter them. Which makes avoiding their skills, combos, and ultimates a breeze.

Objectives First

When playing DKO’s 2v2 or 3v3 game modes, racking up kills isn’t enough to come out on top; you also need to complete objectives

In DKO, some heroes shine brightest when paired with others. An example is King Arthur. He has crowd control skills that are excellent in obtaining objectives.

Practice

Practice is the best approach to improving at DKO. You may hone your recovery skills, get to know each character, become an expert with your favorite, and much more inside DKO’s practice mode.

While there is no doubt that practicing takes time, the benefits you reap will more than makeup for the effort.
