How to Choose Your Main Champion in League of Legends Season 13 1

Choosing your main champion in a game with over 162 units to choose from is as challenging as getting Jhin to give up the number four.

If you’re trying to find the main champion in Season 13 of League of Legends, this guide is for you.

It is important to find the right Champion you want to play as your main. For that, you need to know what you want at this stage of the game.

We have divided the characters into four categories to make it easier for you.

The first category includes fighters that you can use in the early to mid-game. If you want to take control of the game right away, fighters are definitely the ones for you.

You can choose from Rengar, Olaf, or Warwick as they are the strongest of the lot for mid-game fighters.

The next category includes fighters that thrive the most in team battles. If you’re one of the gamers who like late-game insurance, you can consider either Gangplank, Rumble, Knar, or Silas for your team fights.

The next category includes the ones who excel at guarding the side lane and are incredible in 1v1. Here, you want to select Fiora and Jax, as they are some of the most broken ones in this category.

Steer clear of Trundle and Yasuo for your side lanes.

The last category includes our all-rounders. Darius has a good early game while Camile is a great addition to Maine.

If you’re unsure what you want in your champion, you can choose the all-rounders because they can do a little bit of everything.

Ultimately, it all comes down to what is more fun for you! It’s no use to pick a champion as your main just because it has a flashy appearance or is powerful in the current meta.

Naturally, figuring out what is fun and enjoyable can be difficult in and of itself, particularly if you’re new to League of Legends and haven’t had a chance to try out all the different Champions.

My personal advice is to think about the playstyles you’ve previously enjoyed and choose one based on that.

For instance, if you’ve only played tanks in the past, you’ll probably prefer vanguards like Ornn and wardens like Braum. Alternatively, if your preferred playstyle has always been that of an assistant or healer, you will prefer support champions like Janna.

In the end, the best course of action is to play a range of Champions to give you a better sense of what you enjoy.
