Challenges are one of the many activities that players can do in Uncharted Waters Origin. They are mostly combat scenarios against tough foes. However, the rewards for completing them can be very useful.

On top of that, they also help you learn more about the game’s systems.

Everything You Need to Know About Challenges in Uncharted Waters Origin

Challenges are unlocked as you increase your Company Level and complete specific Chronicles. Each Challenge also has a recommended Combat Power. We highly recommend that your Company’s Combat Power is the same as the suggested amount, or higher if possible.

If your Combat Power is below the suggested number, you will be at a disadvantage which can only make the challenges even harder!

You will also need to spend Energy to take on a Challenge. In the event that you get defeated, however, you will get 80% of your energy back.

Winning in combat during a Challenge will earn you various rewards. Before you start, you can check the potential rewards you can get upon completion.

Completing a Challenge will also unlock a higher difficulty level for the same Challenge. Needless to say, higher difficulties will have better rewards but also stronger foes.

To prepare and start the challenge, click on the “Challenges” button on the right side of the screen right below the rewards.

Once you’re in a Challenge, click the 3-star icon on the top right of the screen. This will show you the objectives for the current scenario.

Not only can you check the win and loss conditions, but you can also see various Additional Goals. You can complete these optional objectives to receive grant better rewards!

We highly recommend doing them as soon as they become available. The first couple of Challenges also act as tutorials and should help you get a better hang of the game’s mechanics.
