Hogwarts Legacy: Merlin Trial Moonstone Puzzle Solution

You can find puzzles in the vast open world that will give you fantastic rewards and unique appearance-based products upon completion.

One good example is the Merlin Trials which are mini-challenges based on spells dispersed around the game’s magical open environment.

These trials are essential as they provide additional gear inventory spaces when completed, thus allowing you to carry more items to sell or wear.

In this guide, we’ll teach you how to solve the moonstone puzzle which you can find in the Brocburrow area.

Like any other Merlin Trial, start this one by adding Mallowsweet to the symbol like the one in the image above.

You can get Mallowsweet from the Magic Neep in Hogsmeade or purchase the seeds instead and cultivate it in the Greenhouse planter.

Once you add Mallowsweet, you’ll notice the four pillars around you will be free of vines. Now, use the Revelio spell to locate Lacewing Flies around you.

Head to the Lacewing Flies and use your Lumos spell to attract them. Lead them to the pillar until it lights up.

Find Lacewing Flies again to put on the other pillars. Repeat the process until you finish lighting up all four pillars around you. This will then complete the Merlin Trial.
