Hogwarts Legacy: How to Catch a Giant Purple Toad (Location)

You will be required to attend a few different classes in Hogwarts, many of which will teach you new spells and abilities that you can use throughout the game and introduce you to new side quests.

After completing your first class with Professor Howin, he will request you to collect a giant purple toad.

Here’s how you can complete it.

How to Find the Toad

After getting the quest, follow the quest marker that shows you where to go. For this, you need to go to the Giant Toad Den as shown on the map above

This is in the middle of the Forbidden Forest. Make your way there and get ready to go toad catching.

Catching the Toad

After making your way to the Giant Toad Den, you will see many toads jumping about.

Simply walk up to one of them, use the Levioso spell, and then use your bag. The toad may make a run for it, but if it does, just try again until you have successfully caught it.

After you have caught the toad, speak with Professor Howin. He will thank you for your hard work and reward you with the Bombarda spell that causes a small explosion that can be used in combat or blast open doors or locks.
