Hogwarts Legacy: Field Guide Book Guide
Utilize the Field Guide to help you in your journey as a student at Hogwarts!
The Wizard’s Field Guide was endowed with the power to look into the world and aid the one using it to discover different possibilities to learn and grow.
The Ministry of Magic owned the Wizard’s Field Guide. It was bewitched to aid young witches and wizards in catching up on their studies if they fell behind.
The book will grow new pages as the learner learned new things, and there were over a hundred possible Field Guide Pages in Hogwarts Castle and the surrounding grounds alone.
In this guide, we will teach you how to unlock the Field Guide as well as how to use it.

As a Hogwarts student, you must have your own Wizard’s Field Guide. Fortunately, Matilda Weasley will give it to you early on in the game.
Essentially, the Wizard’s Field Guide in Hogwarts Legacy functions as a main menu. It lets you access the settings, inventory, and other features when using it.
Let’s have a look at what’s inside the Field Guide.
Player Level and XP

You can also access the World Map in your Field Guide. This lets you navigate the vast open world of Hogwarts Legacy quickly and easily.

Another helpful feature in the Field Guide is the Quests menu where all of your quests, completed or not, can be accessed.
Owl Posts
The Owl Posts section of the Field Guide is used as your “Mail” where you can receive letters.
Challenges
The Challenges section is divided into five categories:
- Quests
- Combat
- Room of Requirement
- Exploration
- Field Guide Pages
You can track your progress in this section of the Field Guide.
Collections
Serving as some sort of “glossary,” the Collections section of the Field Guide is where you can find all the beasts or other items you encountered in the game.
Talents
The Talents menu displays your skills which are grouped into five categories:
- Spell
- Core
- Stealth
- Dark Arts
- Room of Requirement
This allows you to allocate points depending on which Talent you want to focus on.
Inventory
The Inventory is pretty self-explanatory. This is where you can find your consumable items, such as potions, as well as other stuff.
Gear
The Gear section works like the Inventory menu, but here, you’ll find your equipped and unequipped items instead.
Settings
The Settings menu works just like any other settings menu. This is where you can change your controls, graphic settings, sound, and more.
That’s all you need to know about the Wizard’s Field Guide Book. We hope this guide helped you kickstart your journey in Hogwarts Legacy!
