In Forspoken, there are numerous ways you can upgrade and improve Frey. You will gradually unlock new moves that can help you perform better in combat and when traveling in the overworld.

A majority of these perks come as you upgrade your skill tree. However, there are also nails that will provide an additional level of customization with added stat perks.

As you make your way through the game, you’ll find new nails that will give you different perks in battle or when doing parkour.

Keep in mind that nails are not unlocked at the start. This guide will show you how you can unlock them. 

How to Unlock Nails

To unlock nails, you must first complete the story up to the third chapter. After you have reached the third chapter, you will be given a quest that directs you to a tower.

Within the tower, you will find a library with books you can read. Your objective is to read all of the available books inside the tower.

As you read all of the books, you will learn about nails and their added benefits. After this, you will get your first set of nails, Slay.

From here, you can paint your nails and add some extra upgrades by obtaining and spending Breakshards. You will be given a quick rundown on how the nails work and their added effects.

And there you go, you have unlocked nails in Forspoken!
