Division 2: How to Fix Crashing on PC
This will help you solve the trouble of getting Division 2 to work on your PC.
Division 2 is an online-only action role-playing game with a steady community since its launch in 2019. The game is set in the near future in Washington, D.C.
The game follows the events of the aftermath of a genetically engineered virus known as “Green Poison” being released. In the game, players play as an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division as they attempt to rebuild the city.
While Ubisoft games are known for being buggy, there have been some reports that many players can’t play the game on PC. The game crashes and, in some instances, doesn’t work at all. This has clearly upset a lot of players.
However, if you are trying to get the game to run on your PC, the fix is quite easy. Here is a quick guide to getting Division 2 working on your PC!
Head Over to Your Settings

To get the game working on your PC, follow these steps:
- Head over to your settings on your PC.
- Type ‘exploit protection’ in the search bar.
- Go to ‘Program Settings.’
- Click on the ‘Add program to customize’ option.
- Click on ‘Choose exact file path.’
- Find where you have Division 2 located on your PC.
- Locate the three applications within Divison 2’s folder that have the game’s icon.
Change Application’s Program Settings

- After you have selected one of the three applications within Division 2’s folder, the ‘Progam Settings’ window will open.
- Select all ‘Override System Settings’ boxes on all options, as shown above.
- Turn off all of the sliders found directly underneath the ‘Override System Settings’ boxes to off as shown above.
- Click ‘Apply,’ and confirm the changes.
- Do this for all applications within Division 2’s folders.
This process should allow the game to work as intended on your PC!
