Disgaea 7: How Do Properties Work
Utilize Properties to get the most out of your equipment!
Disgaea 7: Vows of the Virtueless is set in the Hinomoto Netherworld Cluster. This Japanese-inspired netherworld is losing its “Bushido” way of life after being taken over by the evil Oedo Shogunate.
The plot revolves around the sluggish samurai Fuji and Hinomoto otaku Pirilika who amass a bizarre collection of allies while searching for the Seven Weapons of Origin to topple the Shogunate.
One of the new things added to this seventh entry in the franchise is the Properties feature. In this article, we’ll discuss the newly added feature and find out how it works.
What are Properties

Properties are like the evolved version of the Innocents system of previous installments in Disgaea. Like Innocents, Properties can provide valuable bonuses when equipped with a weapon or armor.
All items in Disgaea 7 have Properties, and it will all depend on your luck. Some Properties, like healing ones, will be useless compared to others.
Nonetheless, some items will have specific Properties already embedded in them. For example, Staves usually come with an increased range buff while Axes come with a Property that will lower the enemy’s defense when hit.
When you Reincarnate an item, you can choose an extra ability to add to your Properties.
However, keep in mind that there is a limit to how many Properties you can use in one piece of equipment.
