The Fighter is the best class for a beginner. This class can equip virtually any weapon. It is a well-rounded class that has excellent movement. You can even equip a shield to block enemy damage.

If you play your cards right, you can eventually transform the Fighter class into a Tank by maximizing its Perks and Skills.
