Dark and Darker Best Settings to Use

Dark and Darker features numerous settings you can tinker with to make the experience work exactly how you want.

There are many standard settings to choose from, like mouse sensitivity and other basic PC settings you’ve come to expect.

However, if you are new to the game or trying to optimize your experience to be more effective, there are a few settings that you can adjust.

This guide will go over all of the setting adjustments you can make and what works best for gameplay.

Mouse Sensitivity

Mouse sensitivity will come down to personal preference.

However, we recommend setting your mouse sensitivity to 0.2 and keeping your mouses DPI at 800.

Having your mouse sensitivity at this level will also allow you to quickly do full 360 turns with your character without having to lift your mouse.

This is standard and will allow you to adjust accordingly until you find something that suits you.

Turn On Voice Chat

Be sure to go into the settings and turn on the Voice Chat options under Audio Heading.

Dark and Darker is a team experience, so you’ll want to be able to communicate with your team so you can play effectively.

Adjust the Graphics

It is recommended that you keep your Anti-Aliasing Quality on Low and your Texture Quality on High. These options will allow you to see more clearly in the game so you can get the jump on enemies and spot loot easily.

Rendering Scale should also be altered if you have low frame rates.

Keeping your Display Mode on Full Screen will also ensure you have the best frame rate. Finally, turn the brightness up as high as it can go as the dungeon is very dark.

Inputs

The default inputs in Dark and Darker are standard across most PC games, so you should only alter them if you have a control scheme that you prefer.

Many of them will boil down to your personal preference and what your machine can handle.
