Chained Echoes: How to Disable 2 Ether Cannons in Shambala Guide

In a particular part of the Chained Echoes, you’ll come across a quest where you need to disable 2 Ether Cannons before you can access your Sky Armor. This is basically this game’s name for mechs.

However, the task is easier said than done as you will need to navigate numerous floating islands by jumping from platform to platform. It’s easy to get lost if you don’t know where to go.

To ensure you can find your Sky Armor as quickly as possible, here is a quick guide to help you disable the two Ether Cannons in Shambala.

Head Over to Sova Village

Start by heading to Sova Village, teleporting yourself to the exact place shown above.

After you have arrived, head to the West and jump on the platform to the West, then the one that is South of that location. From there, you will see a moving, floating platform, jump on and ride it for some time. There is only one other platform you can jump on from here, which is the central island.

Go Through the Main Building

Go into the main building on the island and make your way to the South East until you find a merchant. From here, you will see another platform to jump on.

Ride the platform until it brings you to the northern region which leads directly to an Ether Cannon.

Destroy Chain & First Cannon

Once you have made it to the Northern Region, head North West where you will find a chain. Break the chain, and the adjoining island will begin to move–this is how you get to the second Ether Cannon.

After the Ether Cannon is destroyed, head back to the center of the island and head North. You will find a building with the first Ether Cannon, disable it, and move on to the next one.

Go Back to Central Island & Find the New Platform

Head back to the central island where the main building and merchant were, and you’ll find a new platform floating around. This is the same platform you released when you cut the chain.

To jump on to it, you’ll need to head to the North East of the building. This will bring you to a new location. Head northwest, and you’ll find another chained island to detach.

Once again, head back to the central island where the main building and merchant were. You’ll find another new platform floating around the East of the building, which will take you to the island with the second Ether Cannon to disable.
