Atomic Heart: How to Solve the PA-400 Canister Rail Puzzle

As you explore Facility 3826 in Atomic Heart, you’ll be required to complete a rail puzzle to move a PA-400 Canister. This is part of the “As You Sow, So You Shall Reap” quest.

Getting the canister to the proper place can be a tad cumbersome if you move it to the wrong spot. Thankfully, we’re here to guide you through this puzzle step by step, just read on!

How to Solve the PA-400 Canister Rail Puzzle in Atomic Heart

As soon as you reach the area with the PA-400 Canister, look for the stairs to the right of the large canister. Go up and jump across a gap to a panel. Press the Up arrow on the panel.

Keep going through the overhang until you see a platform with a light in the middle. Use your Telekinesis to pull it to the right so that it’s above the canister.

Jump onto the platform you just moved and then jump to another platform with a panel. On this panel, press the circular button at the bottom to rotate the canister. When it’s done, press the Up arrow.

Now, use your Telekinesis on the moving platform again and pull it to the right. Once it’s close to the panel, jump onto it. Now jump across to another panel on the wall in front of you.

Like with the previous panel, first press the circular button to rotate the platform. After it rotates, press the Up arrow to move the canister further forward.

Hop on the platform above the canister. Look to your left to spot a balcony with a door. Jump onto the nearby platform and then get on the balcony. Go through the door.

The Last Few Panels

Turn right as you head through the door. Keep going forward until you reach the door to your right. Go through the door and jump onto a spinning container. Lastly, jump onto the nearby panel.

With this panel, first press the Up arrow. Once the canister moves, press the circular button to rotate it and then press the Up arrow again. Get down to the ground floor now.

Climb the box near where the canister is and jump onto the stairs on the wall to reach the next panel. Press the circular button and then press the Up arrow.

Look for a nearby platform and jump toward it, you should spot another panel as you do. Jump towards the panel.

This time, press the circular button once and the Up arrow twice. After doing so, get back down to the floor.

Get close to the canister and look up. You should see another panel you have to reach. Jump on the hanging platform nearby to reach the stairs and get to the panel.

For this panel, press the circular button once and then the Up arrow once. Get back down to the ground level and follow the canister to reach the final room.

Head up the stairs to your left as you enter the room to reach the final panel. Press the circular button once and the Up arrow one last time. The puzzle is completed!
